Allenson
37/36, patchy frost. 37 for a low here too, though no frost that I saw. Point-n-click high for here is 76. Wonder if we'll really see a 39 degree rise. That'd be impressive.
moneypitmike
New Davis up snd running? Is it tge same unit? I was just about to post--I just plugged it back in to the internet, and it's back up on Wundergournd. Unfortuatnely, right now it's not properly sited (it's sitting on the deck next to the house until I get the new bolt to mount it), so take it's reading for what it's worth. It partially the same unit. It appears from the repair form that the primary problem was not with my sensor as it was working properly, but with the antenna. They still replaced with the sensor with an updated version (no doubt, some will claim it reads low. ).. They also gave me a new anemometer as apparently it was not functioning right. So, maybe I'll get better wind readings. Will update when it's properly sited.

ski MRG
Low of 50.2. No signs of cool air or fall. worst fall ever rolls onward. A nice three day holiday weekend with temps in the mid 70's under sunny skies then right back to the 60's. Your call for days and days of 80's and 90's looks like it will phail miserably just like the Yanks and Cowboys. Perhaps you should take a few moments to reflect on your participation here. Being the Chicken Little of the SNE forum is really not something to be proud of.

dendrite
Poor most people, he said ALL of SNE. Why hasn't that fookin' bug died yet? Well obviously the lower elevations aren't going to be similar to 1-2k. Regardless you will be pushing record highs for your respective elevation. As for my bug...it got close to dying twice. Only hit 32.5F yesterday because of clouds and the fact I'm on a bit of a slope of a hillside.

First of all it's not going to be 'HOT' as our favorite spin artist would have you believe and it's going to be nice to get a last round or two of warm weather golf in before returning to hitting a frozen rock. This winter is going to be very snowy and cold so the warministas better savor the next couple days.

Obviously I'd prefer more seasonable wx this time of year, but a 3 day hot & dry stretch over Columbus Day weekend will be nice. The nights should cool off quickly as we rack up 30-40F ranges. That's pushing it. Pleasantly warm. Mowing for the last time today. 73,75,75, not bad for this dreaded death torch some have been squawking about. I hope we can get a few weeks of dry weather here as the ground is absolutely soaked and I'm behind schedule due to all the rain. Today's nice weather belies the fact that sharp edged weather is nearly on our doorstep and there is mush left to do in preparation for Winter. Kevin has at least another 3 months before he has to stop mowing but for those of us in the high terrain this is the swan song.

dendrite
That's pushing it. Pleasantly warm. Well to each his own. I suppose 60s in January aren't technically "hot" either, but it is still pushing record highs. I'm just glad we're getting this pattern out of the way in Sep-Oct instead of DJF. At least I'm hoping we're getting this pattern out of the way by then.
Cold Miser
I consider this "banter" so I will post it here. Mods, go ahead and delete away as you wish as it is very obvious that some have more lee way than others with regard to WAY off topic writings, etc. All I just ask is for a bit of courtesy if a thread is deleted, either a heads up via pm or whatever, or to even to move it. Sure, the Uconn thread may not have been completely appropriate here, but I felt it a better place here than in OT where it surely would have been ripped apart. Somehow as one of the least confrontational people on this board, it has been my week to be target. On topic (i suppose) 49F Sunny Thanks, and have a great day.
