88-90 is very reachable. Get your AC ready to fire in downslope torchville out there

i think we could have some fun (in non snow situations) by picking say a "line" or better synonym would be an OVER/UNDER number for a few locale's for sat/ sun / mon say ORH/ BDL/PVD/BOS attach a high temp over/under number to each and see who hits the most out of 12 possible correct choices

i.e

Sat ORH 73.5 BDL 78.5 PVD 76.5 BOS 77.5

Sun ORH 80.5 BDL 86.5 PVD 83.5 BOS 83.5

MON ORH 78.5 BDL 83.5 PVD 80.5 BOS 80.5

ideally every number would have a .5 on the end so there are no "pushes" (ties)

No ac needed in the hills, but you better believe the valley and downslope areas will need it

The typical rad spots should cool off quickly in the evening. To each his own I guess. Even if I had A/C I wouldn't even think about using it this weekend. The windows will be wide open 24/7.

Over for all except ORH

well i mean that is a good sign that u go over...because in vegas they try to keep even money on each side and we know u are one of the warmest for this period....so the numbers could only need a bit of fine tuning...ideally any promet would post the numbers or we could just go by the nhc point and clicks or TWC's numbers just to give a somewhat accurate bench mark

53/33, high of 62. Might pull off the frost tonight, but probably fall short. Cool, clear, and calm, but still a light breeze. After Friday though, just WOW. NWS predicting temps at 82-83 which is about +20-+22 on the high temp for the date. No denying this torch.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 83.

Columbus Day: Sunny, with a high near 82.

48/30, a high of 59, a cloudy morning gave way to clearing along with a busy NW wind. Freeze warning up here, wind has already started to slacken and the temp drop will soon commence.

Enjoy the torch Pete- maybe 75F at 2K on 10/10....wow....average for mid summer. ohmy.gifsizzle.gif

Western frankin has "low 80's". Would be the first day to do than in over two months!

48*

Yah, p-n-c pegs me at 82 both days...

gross (but dry, so that is better)

Do you get the ladybug invasion?

Always seems after the first real freeze/frost (those ones a few weeks ago were short and early) a warm up brings them out of the woods...

Itis usually right around Columbus day that they invade my house...our worst year was 1998... also wet in Sept/Oct iirc

I ripped out all the old drywall and insulation in our upstairs this past summer so that I could reinsulate with better stuff. The bottom of each bay between the stud was loaded with old ladybug exoskeletons...not to mention the dead cluster flies. Good times.

I hated my place in NJ--swarms of them.

We have mild outbreaks, but nothing like you're video has. Ants on the other hand.......

That video was in Indiana I guess, but I have seen them like that here... just swarming out of the woods. I guess the area they are native to has lots of limestone cliffs they burrow into for warmth

Here they have vinyl clad (in my case) houses that look like cliffs to them. Smelly biting gross bugs
