After what fell Wed and Thurs with as little drying time as there was, I will be hella impressed with whatever field you are on for softball if they can get this in. I would have to think you will be at home tonight.

So I would imagine they will want to try and get the game in, and if it gets rained out, again, it won't be made up. I'm okay with that.

It'd sure be helpful come raking season (which, apparently starts this weekend thanks to these storms) You probably already know this but the trick is to keep your lawn cut tight the next month or so. Every strong cold front takes care of the raking for you. I don't think my neighbors like this though......

Every strong cold front takes care of the raking for you. I don't think my neighbors like this though...... My problem is the large trees are in the back of the yard, and all the leaves get blown into the flower beds up against the fence. I actually don't get too many leaves in the yard. Which, at that point, in the yard is a heck of a lot easier to clean up than stuck on top of mulch.

MN Transplant
Euro frontal passage timing for next week is a little more favorable for thunder (Tues eve vs Wed morn on the GFS). However, the far more important note is that Wunderground now has Euro snowfall.

WVclimo
However, the far more important note is that Wunderground now has Euro snowfall. Life just keeps getting better. Gonna feel like October , finally, this weekend. Harvest Parade downtown Martinsburg in the morning with some sun, an apparent temperature of 58 and a wind gusting 23-28. We're also headed to a pumpkin patch Sunday morning, with more sun, similar temps and much less wind.
