.13 overnight and there has been a steady light rain this morning. :weight_lift:

Well, at least we are getting damp, you and I :) I've gotten .4 for the event, but another batch is moving up into my area, so I'm hoping for a bit more. No gully washer, but, with no sun, at least the ground is staying wet for a while. Tony

As was shown yesterday the 12z gfs continues to advertise a big cold shot for the middle of next week. Would bring Frost/Freeze to many and some decent upslope snow. This is right on que climo wise for MBY. 10/20 is average date for first real killing frost. Leaf season is well under way a tick earlier than usual out in the rural areas thanks to the mid-upper 30's we expierenced several days ago. 0z Euro was in line with GFS, bout 12-24 hour latter. We'll see if trend continues today.

Considering I'm running in the Tough Mudder up at Wintergreen, VA next weekend I am hoping the cold snap waits at least until after that weekend. The race is already brutal enough, don't need to fight hypothermia as well

Up to 1.4" so far, much better than I thought it would be. Still really windy.

I just don't get it. You have an inch more than me, and that rain had to come through me to get to you :) Must be the hills squeezing it out for you. T

I'm getting my best rain so far for the event, so get ready up there!

I haven't seen any posts from robert breaking down what the models are forecasting and what he thinks might happenin quite a while now, is everything OK?

Agreed, I was just thinking the same thing last night. I haven't seen Robert around lately. Hopefully all is well and he is just resting up for a long, exciting winter!

It is all for the Orange Headband Amos :)

HAHA yes it is! I'm prepared to run it in snow if I have too. I'd just prefer it to be at least 60 degrees but I'm going to be there either way. My wife is going to setup at the finish line with a video camera to catch me getting hit with 10k volts. So hopefully I'll have a funny video to post when I get back.

I've noticed a lot of color starting yesterday. The rain seemed to kick start it along with the 36 degree morning 10 days ago.

Squeezed out .16" yesterday - just enough to get things damp. Did see some lightning to the Southeast and East of here around 6 this morning.

Hearing thunder here now, looks like a few small storms still firing SPC said we could get more later today......:arrowhead:, opening morning of deer season for us is Sat and the skeeters are gonna be horrible...
