Amazing we are talking about freezes tonight and what is coming up this week.

Oh yeah, it is me Angrysummons, I finally got highspeed believe it or not(probably the last person in the free world that did lol). Models come in really fast now. Sorta takes away from the suspense.

Nice weather. NAO looks to continue in the neutral/positive realm for the next couple of weeks, so hopefully the EPO can come through. Will be interesting how the models though, deal with all the factors including a tropical type of circulation.

Two accounts. Awesome.

Guess you didn't get my PM. If you want a name change to Wintersrage then say so but you can't post here under 2 accounts.

Thinking back to the warmth of Oct 2007...it featured 4 straight daily high temp records either tied or broken at IND.

5th: 87 (tied 1922, 1897, and 1884)

6th: 89

7th: 90

8th: 91

Oct 2010 had two.

10th: 88

11th: 86 (tied 1928)

If we go further back, here are a couple more "notable" October daily record high streaks...

1953

18th: 84 (tie 1938)

19th: 85

20th: 86

21st: 86

1963

23rd: 86

24th: 81

25th: 82

26th: 82

I am really enjoying this October weather. Windows open sleeping weather and pleasantly warm during the day. Since Tim posted IND records, I was curious about the number of 80 degree or above days at FWA in October:

14 days - 1963

10 days - 1920 and 1947

9 days - 1953

7 days - 1938 and 1997
