Tomorrow night is looking pretty darn awesome... Low 36, winds 25-35 mph could occasionally gust over 40. Rainfall around half an inch. Now that's good sleeping weatherthumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Where are you seeing low of 36? I'm seeing 40 to 42 or so in that area, at least the NWS Forecast. If it does get down to 36, you're nearly in snow territory.

Was totally looking at the wrong night for low temps... Sorry long frustrating day. But yes your right, tomorrow night low of 40, with wind driven rain.

Yeah, 0z GFS showing the same thing. What an absolute beast of a mid/upper trough.

Man it gets bitterly cold on the 00z run of the GFS. The Euro and GGEM however cut the Southern end of the trough off in the Southwest. So it will be interesting to see how the evolution of this next trough plays out.

KCLE is going to most likely break the record for wettest year ever at some point before midnight...

We started the day 1.37" under the record, and have seen 1.11" today. We are 0.26" behind the record as of 5PM, and the airport has recorded .13" of rain per hour the last two hours and this shows little sign of abating soon.

Good discussion on the record breaking rainfall at Cleveland over on the Plain Dealer blog. Good chance they break the 60" mark for rainfall this year. The current record is 53.83" set in 1990... normal is about 39 inches.

"We could be looking at more than two inches over the next couple of days, so it's going down," Kubina said. "Not only that, but even with a dry November, December, we could break 60 inches, which is remarkable, way more than any year over the last 140 years."Cleveland averages just over 39 inches of rain each year.
