Yesterday was yet another day where we were only forecast for ~10 mm and ended up getting way more than that. The rains were a constant heavy soaker from the early morning to the mid-afternoon. By the time all was said and done, 40 mm (1.6") of rain had fallen. I can't even recall how many 1"+ rain days we've had this year, more than any other in recent memory.

We've had nearly 12" of rain since September 1st. Let the record-breaking precipitation continue :scooter:

Well, I was wrong that we'd be lucky to see a tenth of an inch of rain. We have had light rain almost constantly today, and an area of moderate to heavy rain is making its way eastward toward L Michigan. Even with a dry two weeks before this, the sides of the road are piling up with water pretty quickly, considering we've only had a couple tenths of an inch today.

I picked up 1.29" yesterday and early this morning. Heavier than I was expecting for sure.
