Check out how that ULL hangs out to our sw. Depending on where that low develops, could be pretty nice Saturday or even Sunday from ORH-east. It's possible the mtns of WV see their first snow before Powderfreak.

I suppose in the fall, the wx threads don't get that many views either, but its probably a bad habit to let them get long. Long threads with tons of views are what get people complaining in the winter about slow server response.

I never understood that logic, each page loads at the same rate. someone in the know needs to really explain this. If a page is loaded with graphics and external links it will load slower, views have nothing to do with it, each page is not preloaded.

ski MRG
Summer might return in mid-October, lol. The temp will go up and down but there is no denying we are in the final descent to Winter now. If we get a nice stretch of mild dry weather mid-month I'll be fine with it. We are so off schedule due to the frequent washouts that if we can pick up some time without weather concerns it would be good. So much to do before cold and snow hit, it is coming at us quickly now. The days of wine and roses are just about over.

Ginx snewx
The yankee fans at work were totally ragging on the sox nation. We busted arss all day then at 330 had a long deserved break with a TV on, we turned on NESN and it was the bottom of the ninth from last night on. Man the jokes were flying from both sides, builds good team bonding though, just hilarious the stuff people come up with. One guy almost had another non sports guy bet that the Sox would lose, cmon man two outs no one on Sox up 3-2, I will drop a hundie betcha the Sox lose, funny sh it. The days of wine and roses are just about over. Well more signs of winter will be appearing for sure this upcoming week with the cold shot. But there's a good chance we torch mid-month based on everything showing up. Hopefully we get a more pronounced cold pattern setting up by mid-November when snow threats are realistic and not just 1-2" of wet slop. While any snow is fun, I don't like a premature cold pattern that gets "wasted" and we flip to warm again when we have a better shot at snow events. We saw this last year with a cold snap at the end of October and early November (that brought that 1-2" slop storm to CT)...but then we torched for most of the rest of the month. Same thing happened in 2009 though the cold shot was earlier.
