That line along the front later today could be interesting. That has the upper level support can could pack some punch.

I mean the line maybe 20-22z or so. You can see it on this map. It's the nw-se line pushing into the metro area..shown in lighter blue shading...indicating high RH in this layer. Also unstable out ahead of it. This might not be more than a line of shwrs, but it could feature some cells packing a good punch. SPC WRF has this too.

For sure. SPC WRF has been all over it. Any breaks in the clouds would be a bonus as far as destabilization goes. There's some just off the NJ Coast right now trying to work west. A long shot, but it's something.

The upper level support is terrific as you mentioned..so we will probably manage something regardless.

It's possible the best might be nw, but the little tail that I mention sometimes has some surprises.
