I hope we're all on the same page with this, regardless of what side of the AGW debate you fall on. If AGW is real, we should try to solve the problem by eliminating it at the source, not by meddling with the climate in other ways. Even if the U.S. decides to take serious action to eliminate the source, that probably wouldn't be nearly enough. If AGW is a serious threat, we might still have to take "meddling" action. Even if AGW is a severe threat, these "meddling" alternatives are likely even worse. Dumping huge quantities of sulfates in the atmosphere? ummm acid rain for starters.
