CT Rain
I'll take temps a little above normal, just get rid of the humidity. The cold people from the mountains will be beating their chest about big negative departures, no doubt.

The whole temp debate on both sides gets old and lame. It has run its course. The phrase "it is what it is" should prevail. Above normal or below normal is just that. Damage In Tolland
I was afraid this might happen. The Euro ens were never gung ho on a big cool down like the op was. Endless summers blow. Thankfully the winter looks bitter and snowy

CoastalWx
Nasty inversion out there. Lots of haze over the city with some lower clouds. Also, the smell of fumes mixed with the salt water air was pungent to say the least. However, leaves are coming along it seems just by looking around on 93, but color is dull. moneypitmike
Big temp fail looks to be in store for the NW zones. Much cooler than the upper 70's that had been forecasted. Wonder what's causing that.....I guess that's just the way we roll out here.

Mr Torchey
Somebody has a chance at 90 on Friday, and any cool shot that comes at us from the southwest on October 1st wont be all that impressive. Just texted the wife, heading to Westerly on Friday, kid free, should be a perfect beach day!

I love the way you swamp Yankees roll Joe--the forecasted highs were upper 70's. While I don't have my Davis (still in repair), much of GC has low-mid 70's. Also, looking at coastal CT, almost looks like you should cover your plants. j/k
