New England Storm
Very Nice day, sunny warm and no rain. Some low clouds but this is awsome weather! I bet this is what fall feels like in the south.
OKpowdah
OT but they are decent, horrible call by the refs, I am not a Pats fan either. It was a bad call, but seriously, it was an Ochocinco fail today IMO Bright sunshine. 77.2/60.8. Not too bad of a day. Got some friz in. At least tonight should be a little more comfortable than last night
moneypitmike
Congrats, Pete and other Bills fans. What the heck was the deal with the timeout issue af 1;43? Any clarifcation on that? A couple of those interceptions were bad luck, but a couple of bad throws. Guess Buffalo has kept there halo and the Patriots' halo missed the flight west. ski MRG
Maybe the Bills can actually finish 8-8 this year now. I'm not even that mad. 14-2 or 10-6 its all about the playoffs anyway. The way the defense looked today, they'll get bounced first round again. And that would have been said after a win or a loss. Amped
If you make the trough a lot deeper and more negatively tilted plus some colder air, then yes, its a lot like 10/4/87, otherwise it really isn't similar at all. Yes colder air is the main issue. -2C won't produce snow. A cutoff low along the New England coast will just produce rain anyway, like it always does in October. moneypitmike
lol...I'm not a sore loser about anything. I just know it's only week 3. I think the Pats are lucky they're only 2-1. Last week's game could very easily have gone the other way. So, for the season so far, I see a domination of Miami and two so-so showings in which they came out 1-1. powderfreak
LOL... +10-+15 departures are definitely torch days Yeah this is as "torch" as it can get this time of year... This morning's low temp here and at KMVL... 60F. Normal Low... 43F That's a +17F just to start the day, lol. This afternoon's high was 76F for a +10F or so. This is like the 3rd day of double digit positive departures up here. Pretty crazy to have a low of 32F one morning, and then lows near 60F later in the week. powderfreak
Next weekend's airmass will feel amazing after this putrid tropical airmass. Yeah, we've struggled to get below 60F the past two mornings which are massive departures from normal, and yet the forecast for next Saturday is 52/35 here in town... and 42/27 with rain/snow showers on the mountain. Gotta love these transition times from season to season.

Dew points for most of the midday today at BDL were mid 60s... yesterday they were close to 70. So yeah it is definitely a bit less humid today and everyone I've spoken to today enjoyed the wx immensely.
