Logan11
Very lovely evening here. BKN to OVC and 62/58 now with a nice breeze. I just got done staining the 50 ft long front porch..no mosquitos bit me so I'd say that chilly wx did a number on them. There are some, but nothing like it was. Helps even out all those negative departures earlier in the month. Are we golfing Tuesday?

I know NCDC has annual climate summaries but you have to pay for them. Yeah I just crunched the raw numbers, and here is what you get for BDR... # 1 1972...73.96 # 2 2006...58.89 # 3 1971...57.30 # 4 1983...56.94 # 5 1996...55.39 # 6 1973...54.91 # 7 1989...50.55 # 8 1952...48.60 # 9 1979...48.04 #10 2008...47.76 This year should get to #7 at minimum, and a top 3 wettest year isn't out of the question since it's 11 inches away with 3+ months to go. Supposedly that's the "official daily data set" so you may find some differences from those numbers, but it's probably representative enough. snowman21
Where do you access that? It's available for free via ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/ghcn. Might need to use a dedicated FTP program to get at it though.
