CT Rain
Euro ensembles are pretty bullish on the cold shot next weekend. Its looking more and more likely as we get closer. Could be a pretty chilly first week of October. Frost on Kevin's bald head?

Typhoon Tip
There's definitely a low level swirl on the visible satellite with some convection north and south... but it still seems to be a broad trough of low pressure with a center not really closed off yet. Yeah and that particular circulation center appears to have filled and yet another develops farther south amid the same trough.

ORH_wxman
? Why Because its early October and we still aren't a lock to even have below 0C 850 temps. Even if we did, we'd need precip and that is not a lock either...and if we did get precip with below 0C 850s at that time of year, it would have to come down in a heavy burst to get flakes. The probability of all those variables coming together is very low. If I was on top of Mt. Wachusett, I'd be more optimistic.
