Ginx thinks I am crazy, but I believe we will have some sunny breaks especially later saturday into sunday, time will tell  ...lets hope so

Strongly agree...

62/61, calm

TORCH.

We'll be lucky to get below upper 50s tonight. I think you'll be surprised at how quickly the monthly departures go up with the extremely warm nights. A low of 60F in Rindge is around +15F, and high temperatures don't look too shabby either with breaks of sun, 850s around 12C, and S/SW flow.

63/61 here too warm for my taste.

I will be camping in your area this weekend. Hope it isn;t a total rainout...

I've had 2 frosts here in September, all systems go for a cold snowy Winter. A few warmish days before cooler air moves back in means little to me. This month will not end up wildly +. Negligible departure either side of 0.0.

It looks like a crappy weekend for a camping trip, unfortunately. 18z GFS seems to indicate moderate rain Friday, some breaks Saturday, and then perhaps another round of rain later in the week. Hopefully you can just sleep through the rains Friday evening, but it might be wet if you are planning any hiking excursions Saturday AM. I am driving home Friday afternoon so I hope the roads aren't too treacherous.

71.2 down here in the tropics Nate. :( It's no wonder it's so tough to average below normal these days...+15F departures are handed out like candy on Halloween.

Damn...the models are really keeping that ULL a lot more west in the latest runs aren't they? Looks like we're in the weather doldrums for awhile. Congrats Kev.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse...it does. Euro keeps us in a warm, muggy aimass for the next 10 days. Zero signs of fall like weather anywhere in the continental US thru day 10 lol.. Gonna be an awful lfoliage season this year and very late peak for all of us as well. I had a feeling this might happen. Warm autumns blow ..Some how someway someone will spin this into a cool wet period

Wjat a swampazz run this morning in the rain along with high dews. I remember Moneypit making a post last week that he was glad that was the last warm morning of the season.LOL>. we now have at least 10 more of these

Good luck this winter. You and Joe are gonna be bosum buddies in terms of snowfall.

I could see this mionth ending up 2-3 above normal for all of SNE...Much much above

If we hold on to the mostly cloudy, humid, periods of rain weather into next week you might be right. Even if the first 21 days of the month had a departure of 0.0, all it will take to end the month +2 or greater is for these next nine days to average around +6.5. Certainly doable given the huge low temperature departures we're seeing. I don't think I even dropped below 70 last night which is pretty remarkable even for here this late in the season.

In the fog for the last two days? Pattern recognition FMY

Yesterday was beautiful and the rain is just about done for ct today. Outside of one cool shot this summer and fall is warm, your pattern recognition has been awful, the rubber band never broke, the one recurving typhoon never changed the pattern.
