Ginx snewx
Yeah--I followed Steve's ideas (thanks again!). Alas, I still need to send it in. But, that'll cost a lot less than a new one. You unplugged the ISS? Removed the battery?, followed the manual reset? No good?, Davis is great, they sent me a new console after I told them about our hand held walkies freezing up the console. Mr Torchey
Love being colder than the surrounding areas joe. Yeah me too! LOL......not. It is what it is, if your are near the coast outside of the pine barrens on the cape you are warm, the map speaks for itself. Its very early, its summer afterall, and the water is very warm, its great to see 90% of the folks getting into some real autumnal air, my time will come in October when I frost before some of the hill towns, just like last year. powderfreak
Clear and 38F here...headed for a freeze, methinks. I've finally cleared out and winds are calm. Dropping quickly now after holding in the mid 40s most of the evening thanks to the orographic clouds. 12am temp is 38F here. If we stay calm like we should, I may find some ice on the windshield when I wake up at 6am. I still think you (Nate) and Pete will go a bit lower than up here as we had a late start thanks to pesky low level clouds and NW breeze. And BTW.... SLK in the Adirondacks is down to 29F as of 11:51pm. Jesus H. They'll be low 20s by morning.

ORH_wxman
Looks like the high clouds are putting a cap on how cold it gets. Frost will be sparse. I'm sure MRG will report it, but very few areas will get frost tonight unless we can get a clearer zone come through in the next 3-4 hours. Still a very chilly night though for this time of year. ski MRG
Dropped below 32 at 5:40am, remained at 31.8 for 20 minutes, dropped to 31.5 at 6:00am for 10 minutes then started to climb back up. First frost on September 17th, exactly the date of our average first frost but one day later than I forecast in August.

We're not sure what is up with the occasional outages, but we've been diligently working on the issue. I was up at 7am and it was down from then until 9.
