weatherwiz
winter coat? lol.. gloves and hats to go with it? I have to fight it...every year I tell myself to go as long as possible w/o wearing a winter coat b/c I feel if I wear it too early and get myself all toasty warm it will be much more difficult to handle the cold when it actually comes. When I was younger the cold never used to bother me like this but every year it gets worse and worse.

dryslot
Interesting. They probably just dug it up then if it was shallow. I thought for a minute it might have been one of Pete's friends that left a body there....you know, the ones that own the school bus with Ray's buick there. Can you be a little more specific on this? Your acting like there was a guy with tattoos all over his face that would drink blood...
Mr Torchey
He doesn't have one. he uses BDR station for his obs 55 degrees as I head out. I am sure that matches up nicely with other coastal communities right now, might not be perfect but close enough for me. Oh wait it falls in line perfectly. moneypitmike
Why do the numbers on your thermometer go in 16* increments? I think it gives the illusion of a torch.

wxmanmitch
Made it 39 IMBY this morning. Pretty impressive for this time of year given that it was partly cloudy and rather windy last night. Had upslope drizzle until about 6 or 7 PM, but it was mostly cleared out by 9 PM. If we can decouple early tonight, the Berkshire Valley will get cold with widespread frost. Logan11
My low was 37. Sunny, windy and 48 out there now at almost 11:00 AM. Feels great. Brian5671
He doesn't have one. he uses BDR station for his obs BDR is a horrible station--sits out on Sikorsky penisula into the sound--always too warm for lows in the winter and too low for highs. (not for that specific location, but for the region around it).... Same deal in the summer, their high will be 87 and I'm roasting 5 miles away at 95....it's a joke. ma blizzard
lol...didn't see this... You're pretty skinny now, too! Wonder if it gets colder tonight. Lower starting point, drier air, but more mixing I wouldnt think there would be more mixing tonight, if anything there really shouldnt be much with high pressure building in and relatively calm conditions .. although according to the AFD some cirrus might move in overnight, but there still should be essentially ideal radiational cooling conditions tonight. Last night there was def more mixing with strong CAA during the evening and overnight hours ..

I would agree that OKX might be a category too warm tonight if we had clear skies right now. Instead it's mostly cloudy (at least here in NY metro), and generally the biggest drop off occurs from 6-9 PM, so we'll need these clouds to get out of here soon if we want to beat last night.
