moneypitmike
Might be able to get some minor intensification of the line as it marches east. Marginally unstable outside, not as much as we were yesterday or last night though. As I was examing the tree this morning, I was thinking "Wiz would have loved to have seen this one". weatherwiz
As I was examing the tree this morning, I was thinking "Wiz would have loved to have seen this one". Would have been cool to see. I've seen a tree get hit once but it was while on the road so didn't get to see the aftermath of it.

Mr Torchey
Looks like the anafrontal rains are really drying up down this way to our west, with some storm firing along the front to my east. BTW next week looks insane sunny skies, temps in the low to mid 70s and overnight lows in the 50's to near 60, color up north should really start to pop over the next ten days. Logan11
Light rain and 53 here... Back edge of this "shrinking" rain band is an hour away maybe. I'm going to head out to Home Depot at some point and buy something to get by so I can at least know what's happening temp wise. Meanwhile, I'm going to check my connections one more time . Meanwhile, anyone know if they sell ISS as a stand-alone? I didn't see it on a quick look, but I really don't want to have to get a whole new console, anemometer, etc.

We've been getting showers for the last hour or so, but nothing sustained. Temp dropping painfully slowly. 60*

Logan11
That's a very cool map. I dunno how accurate it is, but the finely detailed nuances look realistic. You can even make out our uplands west of ALB (in darker green low 50s) and the narrow yellowish upper 50s in the Schoharie Valley to the west and Mohawk Valley to the north/west. That map will be great in winter wx events if it is accurate. Solid temp gradient between NNE and SNE right now. More like NW to SE.

Mr Torchey
Man that was a lot of MEH........anafrontal rains were a no show, showered for maybe 5 minutes, if that. Temp is 71, hardly a breath of wind, I am sure the nw wind will kick up later tonight but the temperature drop down this way has been very slow, which is usually the case with a downsloping wind. Where is Ray, I know he loves this anafrontal crap
