My Weather Today Posted December 8, 2010 Share Posted December 8, 2010 The Houston/Galveston WFO lists the December 8, 1935 Harris County Flood as an honorable mention on its Top Ten List of weather events for Southeast Texas from 1900-2000. Top Ten For anyone who may be interested in looking for more information regarding this event, here is a link that provides more details on exactly what happened during that flood. Yea I always find it interesting to read about past weather events. You don't get very many December extreme heavy rain events here in Texas very often.
