Voyager
Some pics from the Tamaqua area. While the river stayed in it's banks through town, other streams in the area did not. Here at my house the total so far stands at 7.85" for the event. I shudder to think what things would have been like here had that firehose set up farther east and nailed this area with the amounts locations along the Susquehanna got. michsnowfreak
Good action pics! We have had over 2" of rain over the last 4 days, a solid overcast and fog with off and on rain, making it this far northwest.

Voyager
Thanks guys! All was well in the area as we'd missed most of the training rains they got west of us until the Thursday morning downpour. The area south of Tamaqua in West Penn Township must have been a heavier band as Doppler estimates took them over 10" for the event while we only had 7.85" right in town. The extra 2.5 - 3 inches pushed all the small streams and creeks up out of their banks.
