phlwx
Once we get this last batch through, I think we can get the Philles game in tonite. Sorry there is no banter thread. At the rate it's moving they may start it before it hits...it's not excactly moving east very quickly.
phlwx
The high res WRF from the SPC has a strong band of rain/thunder setting up across the Philly metro after 3 PM today. http://www.emc.ncep....d_1000m_f19.gif FTW!
Voyager
I figured it would be. That plume just kept training over the same areas. I'll bet Western Schuylkill County and up through Bloomsburg and beyond is a disaster as well. Best wishes, harrisburg area is a full on diaster. 4.75" since Midnight and 9.5" storm total. Seems like we actually might make a run at Agnes records The rain has been crazy today. Roads are closed everywhere. My storm total is 8.76" so far, and it is still pouring. I'm across the river and just north of you. I passed the 8" mark around 2pm. Yea, it has been crazy. My parents live in Maytown, and they said it is really bad over that way as well. Parsley
I've been away from the radar the past few hours.....just saw it. Said to myself "Oh S!@#!" not good! Steady climb of the dewpoints here into the lower 70s. Rain total back to the weekend at 5.45". Emptied thd gauge to be sure its ready for the wall of rain that awaits. NaoPos
Disaster /catastrophic etc... All words that have been over used on here. I'd rather see te words "high flooding potential" or severe flooding.
LVblizzard
FTW! The SPC WRF has been great ever since I started looking at it this spring. It's a really valuable short-range tool.

Maximum lawman
ocean fetch Propos yet again to Mt. Holly who said this morning KRDG would be the bullseye. I've been thinking all afternoon there was no way the heaviest band gets to Philly but now I'm thinking it will.
