Hoosier
Euro FTW again it seems. Looks like the other guidance is moving in its direction. Not a drought breaker, but some much needed rainfall for quite a few spots. Sometimes you can get a flare up of heavy rain near the center at night which can lead to some high totals in a short period of time. I'm not sure what the exact processes are since my tropical knowledge is pretty small, but I'd guess that type of phenomenon is less likely to occur once a system has made an extratropical transition. Still, it appears that there could be some banding and locally heavier totals in association with the upper low.
Chicago WX
HPC 5 day total QPF through 0z Sunday. 18z GFS with a nice bullseye around IND, totals approaching 3" through 0z Sunday.

snowstormcanuck
Zilch for you, 13+ feet for State College, PA. If that map was depicting snowfall, it would be a microcosm of 09-10.
Chicago WX
Certainly in the NAM's la la land range, but the 0z run is showing 2.00"+ amounts in central Indiana through 12z Friday.
tuanis
I'm getting hitched myself on Saturday in Muskegon, MI. I'm praying this doesn't pull further north and the qpf cutoff stays towards the MI/IN border. It's an outdoor wedding on the family's farm. GFS also putting the heaviest totals north of IND and the Euro has been hinting at that lately.
Chicago WX
GFS also putting the heaviest totals north of IND and the Euro has been hinting at that lately. Yep. 12z GFS shifted east a bit too, as did the 0z Euro. Shame for Indy and the surrounding area, as they could really use the rain. Still, some time left for waffling, but the trend is not their friend.
Chicago WX
12z Euro east. Eastern Indiana, western/northwestern Ohio into southeast Michigan appear to be the big "winners". Northern Ohio makes out okay too.

IWXwx
INDhairpull.gif That's a nice little bulls-eye right over MBY. We don't need it as badly as Central IN, but we are running a deficit and could use it too.
tuanis
Any insight into the latest Euro runs in regards to this cutoff low? I'm not usually a big IMBY poster, but with my outdoor wedding in Muskegon, MI on Saturday, I'll take any help I can get! Latest models seem to keep the wet stuff south of the area during the day, does the Euro follow suit? Thanks!
