ThreeRedheads
I've lived here 12 years and have never had anything like this happen. We have the reservoir, but no sump pump. Wish me luck.
Bob Chill
I'm interested to see rain totals from the cell parked over SW DE. It been stuck there most of the afternoon. Flatland there too. It's gotta be pretty ugly.
Pityflakes
Lol DC split in full effect now that western fairfax/MoCo is in the mix. Should fill in though.

Bob Chill
No rain but breezy here now. If any cells tonight bring some high winds, trees are toppling all over the place. The ground is so wet in my woods that I'm afraid to even push on one of my trees.

TradeWinds
Seems like the wall around Frederick wants to give in but can't. Like the D.C. folks, it is just comical how Mother Nature tries every which way to avoid this area. Look at how that line of enhanced rains bends way around to exclude the desert of Frederick. Not the extreme amounts seems elsewhere but right at 5" for the event which is still very impressive!
