lsukev
It will be interesting to see if that lighter rainfall band area from earlier across DC gets its share from those storms down south. Would be ok for the peeps to the east, I am sure.

Power outage and it's going bananas for whatever reason Enter the code and hit off. Do this twice. Usually works for me. Other than that, pull the plug? Or the battery? SmokeEater
Ahhh. To protect and serve. Of course they would tell him to f off, they've got more important things to do then explain to somebody who didn't put the backup battery in his keypad. He's just lucky they don't fine you down there, like they do around here.

TradeWinds
DC proper and west needs the front to make some progress westward. Maybe tomorrow? From NWS: UPPER LOW REMAINS ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY ON THURSDAY. IF ANYTHING...IT RETROGRADES A LITTLE. HIGH PRECIPITABLE WATER ENVIRONMENT REMAINS OVER THE CWA. THE BEST CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION WILL BE DURING THE EVENING HOURS THURSDAY AND AGAIN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE IN ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP...BUT IT WILL NOT BE AS WIDESPREAD AS RECENT DAYS. translate: maybe a better chance of rain for the Western areas but nothing really organized like today. Scattered events in the MD and VA deserts don't usually go well.
