Ellinwood
If I end up going out to chase I would pick the southern MD and Fredericksburg area... nice conglomeration of parameters there.
real
BWI, IAD, and DCA have all received 1-2" in each of the last two days. What are you talking about? obviously, you didn't read the "in 12 hours" part of my statement. Sorry, i don't consider 1.5 inches of rain over the course of an 24-hour period a deluge. Maybe you do, but until hopefully today, the rainfall in DC has been quite sporadic, and not even as much in the city as DCA recorded.
snownut
event total at 4.1 inches yesterday's high of 57.4 the first high in the 50's since last spring. does not look like wide spread from here on for the mountain areas
TradeWinds
0.45" overnight in Frederick. Event total now 2.15" in my backyard which is the largest event here in the last 4.5 months.

CranberryWX
I recorded 2.56" over about 40 hours. The rain fall was almost continuous, most of it light. You couldn't ask for a better way to end a very dry period. We needed this going into the driest time of the year. This is the first time I recall getting a good soaking rain at this time of year as most around here try to get their lawns back in shape. Usually we have to water in the seed and fertilizer. smokeybandit
Temp went from 67 to 73 in my 15 minute drive to work. Sun popped out too. My untrained eye, when looking at radar, sees the rain fields really picking up speed. Am I seeing things?

North Balti Zen
Cloud cover ftw. And then some. The clouds are on the ground in downtown Baltimore. Underground if they could be. Foggy like its SF foggy. Traffic a complete mess and crawling everywhere. Commute time was more than double thanks to weather and all schools being in. Jns2183
That train of storms that moved north from your area really ment business. Harrisburg is already up to 2.45" for the day as of 9 am, and they have doubled their daily record rainfall. 7.12" storm total.
mattmfm
Someone's getting a lot of rain today that for sure. Looks like this feeder band sticks around over 95 most of the day, and may actually drift back west a bit this evening before another slug of precip moves in overnight.
