Does anyone here know how to stop an ADT alarm from blaring? Power outage and it's going bananas for whatever reason

See, this is what heat lightning causes. Don't let the folks on this board give you crap!

JK, of course. Hope it gets resolved for you.

New stuff looks to train over same areas as this morning's batch; PG county east. DC proper and west needs the front to make some progress westward. Maybe tomorrow?

Just got done mopping the basement from this morning's rain, but I was still lucky. My neighbor had nearly a foot in her basement.

Of course they would tell him to f off, they've got more important things to do then explain to somebody who didn't put the backup battery in his keypad. He's just lucky they don't fine you down there, like they do around here.

From NWS:

UPPER LOW REMAINS ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY ON THURSDAY. IF

ANYTHING...IT RETROGRADES A LITTLE. HIGH PRECIPITABLE WATER

ENVIRONMENT REMAINS OVER THE CWA.

THE BEST CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION WILL BE

DURING THE EVENING HOURS THURSDAY AND AGAIN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND

EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE IN ANY THUNDERSTORMS

THAT DEVELOP...BUT IT WILL NOT BE AS WIDESPREAD AS RECENT DAYS.

translate: maybe a better chance of rain for the Western areas but nothing really organized like today. Scattered events in the MD and VA deserts don't usually go well.
