PennMan
We are in a brief lull here. Emptied the gauge for the third time since 3:30PM. 7.77" for the past 24 hours, 12.69" since Sunday evening. Ivan and June 2006 have been thoroughly routed here, and Agnes could be surpassed IMBY within an hour or two.
MAG5035
WOW...that river is on the way up fast! Check out the Loyalsock right up around your neck of the woods: Looks rather peculiar, I can't imagine that dropped off that fast and abruptly. Jns2183
Every time I look south on the radar thinking that the western edge might be pushing east I see storm starting to fire and fill in keeping the edge where it is. Why is this?

pawatch
Check out the Loyalsock right up around your neck of the woods: Looks rather peculiar, I can't imagine that dropped off that fast and abruptly. The other major creek is heading up. Picked up about an inch of rain with the last burst. Round 2 getting ready to hit. One thing that is helping the river some is: Pine Creek didn't get hit that hard. It's around 5 foot.
Amped
Every time I look south on the radar thinking that the western edge might be pushing east I see storm starting to fire and fill in keeping the edge where it is. Why is this? Because that heavy band is more confused than Randy in an orgy.

NortheastPAWx
More good news here -- looks like the east edge is subsiding a little. Heavy precip still staying off to our west.
Jns2183
Take a look at this IR loop, stunning. Plus it seems like the trough is finally going negative the last few frames as tops are starting to build back west in Virginia and take on a more NNW flow. Any MET be able to interpret what that means for us? http://www.goes.noaa.gov/GSSLOOPS/ecir.html

MAG5035
It does appear that the rain plume is trying to edge back east again, maybe. At any rate, Binghamton looks to get back into the really heavy action again soon and W-B/Scranton should eventually see it.. although the heaviest precip has continued to lurk west of I-81 in that area.
