The Iceman
Somehow I don't think you actually mean losing your entire house would be fine just for a good story in a few years.... In other news, the Hershey hydrograph is stunning. scary thing is that projection will most likely go up with all the rain aimed at the area tonight. hckyplayer8
I can only imagine the images we will see tomorrow. I mean I had roads flooded out at 2pm and remained flooded out when rechecked on at 6pm. A lot of these roads didn't even have creeks running by them! On a off note, thank god it is not windy. It's been 26.2' now for hours and before this extra heavy stiff hit northz
NortheastPAWx
Is it just me or has the rain lost its easterly bend? That would be awesome for W-B...

Santa Clause
I don't think so man....I think IPT to MDT get whacked and then it bends more east and you guys stay in it longest...not good!
NortheastPAWx
stuff in baltimore region is still moving NNE I'm just looking at the stuff in H-Burg, seems to be straight north.
Santa Clause
Dude..I am really concerned about W-B...if this stuff works it's way there and points north look out!!
djr5001
KMDT will finish with record 5.60" for the day... about 5" under september monthly total record... currently 4th wettest year still... I don't like how Corbett/PennDot are acting like everything will be fine around here in the AM... with the setup overnight I don't think it will be good conditions by AM... crazy how fast water is rising upstream of here esp. Wilkes Barre still at 1.5 feet per hour rate... currently 82nd highest level there and rapidly rising up the list... same with others along susquehanna
canderson
Through 11 pm, MDT had 9.9" rain since Sunday. It's poured probably close to another inch since then.
NortheastPAWx
Dude..I am really concerned about W-B...if this stuff works it's way there and points north look out!! Like I said, I'm liking the radar trends for it to stay west, but I could be wrong. If we do get all this heavy stuff, yeah...game over.
MAG5035
A little thunder now. I love the story on PennLive where PennDOT is all "no worries - roads will all be clear for your morning commute." They just need to slap the plows on, that'll get 'er cleared off in time for rush hour haha. Holy crap, 61.5 DBZ core with the one cell under H-burg. It's actually registering a max 28.6 kg/m2 on the VIL and I would wager theres no hail involved..
canderson
No hail -really low house-shaking thunder yet no lightning.

PottercountyWXobserver
My prioblem is my sisters house burned to the ground this week in Texas, and my best friend's did too. In separate fires. 50 miles apart. My parents have had 6" rain this year and the lake they live on is bone dry. I've now had like 54" for the year and I can hear a raging river from my doorstep. It's all historic, but it's maddening how unfair this all is. And there (for then at least) is no end in sight. Be safe guys and I hope no one suffers any losses from this historic, crazy event! Hopefully your family is ok! Fires are like the only natural disaster I wouldn't want destoying my property, they are so lame, well that goes for heat in general, ewwww. My weather bias is showing . Everyone stay safe, but enjoy this crazy weather while you can!
PottercountyWXobserver
6.551" here in 24 hours Just got out of the yellow. lmao at Austin showing up as a town on that radar I think the deer population is larger there! PennMan
This is just too much...we've got water coming in the garage because our road is flooded beyond what we've ever seen. We've had around 3" just since 10:40PM. Will easily push to and probably exceed 12" for this event within a few hours.
