Just read some of the tooterific OT thread, it's so ironic to have him banned after his most level headed well thought out post. I guess it's easier to silence an alternative position than it is to argue it.

It's also pretty clear that some folks who post are way way way too serious about everything (not talking about you OSUmet I agree with your request to mods, mostly about a handful of folks outside SNE). Maybe they just needed to see more MVT posts before his ridiculous tirades about anal sex. Any time he posts it's generally about 95% sarcasm but so many were reading his stuff as if he were dead serious. It was really funny and kinda sad at the same time.

Sorry to clutter but thought the banter thread was th eonly place since that OT thread got locked.

Looks like some great fall weather is in store for much of september, a few years back I accidentally got caught in a surprise little snowstorm climbing the Mt. Lafayette loop in the whites in mid sept. Winters coming I think we can all feel it.

Very illuminating too. Libruls aren't at all liberal any more.

I would like to thank the two stalwarts here who courageously defended the lost concept of open discussion of ideas there, MRG & GINX. I am not worthy.

Looks like a nice cool down for sure, its going to feel awesome out! Ready for a couple fires, and a nice bottle of red, last 10 days look interesting too, Kevin may regret taking the Ac's out.

It's a damn shame Toot. Quite an accomplishment to get booted from OT.lol I've tried on a number of levels to point out you are no boogeyman and you should be afforded the right of free expression. I really see this as a fundamental cornerstone of an enlightened community. While I don't agree with all you have to say I don't need to. I still think you are a very thoughtful man with interesting takes on a wide range of topics. Others may want to treat you as a pariah, I do not. I must say it was very frustrating to see the ease with which some will call for the banning of another posters voice. I don't think you are a hateful person and I don't think you should be treated as such. I do hope that some day I'll get the chance to fly along through field and forest on one of the guest sleds. I hope you will participate even more here on the weather side. I look forward to cold, snow and more Toot.

The place had no appeal for me as evidenced by my complete lack of participation in any thread there but the SUPERTOOT thread.

There are no other posts or interests in that "forum" by me or for me so, little is lost.

I imagine the borg there is ululating like bankrupt banshees now that they've taken their scalp.

I took all of the a/c units out of the windows this morning. Summer is slowly fading away now

Summer's gone here. It;s Autumn now. The trees are changing, there is a snap in the air. Another sign of the times is your transformation from Torchipillar to Blizzerfly. Pics from Waubeeka Golf links yesterday. One of the most picturesque courses in the Berks. Fun tournament, won some money.Oh yeah.
