Pretty uniform temps. throughout SNE.

Funny all the posts about how chilly it feels and how refreshing the cool is. We had 9 days in August here in GC that featured highs in the 60's and when I say it's cool out some argued.lol It's Autumn now, people should dig out the sweaters and jackets as they'll be needing them more frequently.

Much more rain than I had anticipated last evening. Have picked up 1.14" just since midnight (!). Heavy rain continuing now.

Total since midnight Monday is now up to 5.55".

54.7/54

Edit (6:30): up to 5.75" (1.34 on the day). Might have to head to the Deerfield after my morning meeting to see how it's faring.

Somuch for just a south coast soaker..They ended up with some of the least amounts.. Tropical air FTW

I picked up 1.48 so far..looks like more huge totals over Western Mass with inches to go

It was more for the evening into midnight. You can see on these totals.

Western mass now into the action, but more should come up later today and tonight for SNE.

Scott, I was checking out the HPC graphics and it looks like we're pretty much done after this morning's rains pass through. Am I interpreting things right on that? I had expected things would have been continuing a little more heavily than the pretty minor totals they have on their dayy 1-3.

No I think there might be another slug of rain tonight, but some models are not in agreement so I suppose it is not a lock, but the chance is certainly there.

Thanks--not that we need anymore.

After a couple of days in the mid-50's low 60's, the house has a bit of a chill. Maybe start a HubbDave (i.e., September) fire.

Up to 5.82".

Lol. We're actually getting a couple more fire places lined in the next month. Fires everywhere. Well, the upstairs one's still aren't lined.

5.87". May as well make it to 6.00 if we're going to have this much.

Congrats on the hill. I'm only at 4.8"

Just ridiculous amounts of water the past 10days. Well over 10".

58/55

I think your totals from the past 2 days is ahead of what fell with Irene.

Yup--how's the Green River doing? I suspect it looks pretty crazy on Green River Rd!

I'm going to trek to Shelburne Falls later this morning. Don't know if there will be anything photo-worthy, but I'll have camera and video at the ready.

Snow must be over your house with the totals you're getting. :snowing:

Lol. I'm still waiting to break the 6" mark--up to 5.98 with just light rain.
