I''ve gotten an official territory (All of Eastern CT east of the River ) so have been swamped. Plus there's not much wx to discuss after Irene

Congrats on the territory. Are your sales all in-house or are you meeting with clients? If you go remote, enjoy my old stomping grounds in New London.

61.1. But, it's not the heat, it's the humidity. :)

It's all face to face..some clients..but a large part is trying to sign prospects. I'm all over the state now.

60 here....I agree 100% :) I wouldn't want this every day, but loving it for a change.

Dogwoods are starting to get a nice purple/red tint, and the swamp maples have started to turn as well, I have even seen some color on the tops of some trees, perhaps a smidge early down here, nothing too out of the ordinary. Hope we can dry out, to get some really good colors this season.

I expect the colors up here will be pretty ragged. Franklin County had an incredibly dry period until Irene. We had a thunderstorm blocker turned on that funneled everything north or south. I think that will limit the colors up here.

.60 in the gauge so far. Mod rain now..

Don't forget the high for the day was at midnight..so even though you may have stayed in the 50's to near 60..your high was warmer than that..I stayed at 59 for the daytime here..but at midnite it was still 68.3

Winter-mode Kevin would surely throw out the early morning maxes.
