tamarack
Enjoy the cold..it's the only cold you've got Maybe some places, but not in Maine. Thru 12/9 PWM is about +1.5, BGR +2.3, MBY about +3, CAR nearly +10. Today's chill will cut about 1F off those departures, but if the 12z gfs temps were to verify, Dec in Maine would finish at +3 to +8, south to north. Jan-Apr 2010, anyone? OKpowdah
Canadian still holding on to stronger high pressure to our north, which would probably give a lot of NH a couple inches of snow before the changeover

CoastalWx
Canadian still holding on to stronger high pressure to our north, which would probably give a lot of NH a couple inches of snow before the changeover Yeah I think maybe sw NH and nw ma could see that, it's just too bad we didn't have a colder airmass in place. Those areas probably would see several inches then ice. Maybe that area of precip associated with the llj can race up quicker and help those areas out. dryslot
Verbatim it's dry, but doesn't look all that bad. 00z had it surpressed going off the coast around the carolinas, 12z looks like its trying to amplify it and brings it further noerth, Might be something to keep an eye on, Not that far from being a coastal up here....... Yes, rather see it suppressed by the models now with plenty of time to correct.
