CT Rain
The models overall have been too far to the southeast when you are 7-10 days out. It makes me wonder about the next set of storms. Yeah no kidding. Sort of disconcerting.
Tropopause_Fold
Phil does the "clipper" put any measurable down anywhere in sne? yeah there's a strip of light precip, probably light snow, that swings across most of SNE friday evening/night. H2Otown_WX
It's nice to see the 12z GFS is close to another Lakes Cutter by 12/19-12/20. If you look at the glass half full, it's close to an overrunning event.

Tropopause_Fold
decent snows backing into SNE mid-week as a series of lows pinwheel offshore and slowly retrograde back toward the GOM.

Yeah unless we get the Euro to work out I think we're pretty much snow-free through 12/19. And to be honest that storm has the look of a cutter too. CoastalWx
How can we eliminate that kind of air making it down here at some point in the long range? Well hope the euro is going a little overboard, which it may. We do have a "seasonable" cool pool overhead, and also this time of year allows to manufacture cold a little. That said, it is a little bothersome.
