eyewall Posted August 30, 2011 Share Posted August 30, 2011 The high clouds associated with hurricane Irene made for an incredible sunset over Central NC on the evening of 8-26-2011. Shortly after these were taken one of the first outer rain bands moved in. You can see that band coming in a couple of these shots. Other than some gamma there is minimal enhancement on these photos. It was one of the more vivid displays of red and orange I can remember. Is it common having an awesome sunset the night before a hurricane?
