snowlord81
I don't trust that. If the HRRR has it though, that's a different story. I feel pretty confident some places will hit 100 the next 2 days. We shall see. I'll go with 97/99 for LAF...IND 99/
baroclinic_instability
Nice. I had to go check out the NWS page so I could see the graphics. Ahhh, won't be long! http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/mso/ I know, it was nice to see. Meanwhile, we are baking at 96 degrees here today, lol!

I'll go with 97/99 for LAF...IND 99/101 I went 98/100 for LAF. Don't see enough reason to change it at this point. 95 today at IND is a warning sign to lean on the warm side the next couple days. Thundersnow12
24hr RUC has LAF at 100 tomorrow as well lol. looks like the warm front gets hung up around north of I-90 in northeast IL near the WI border.
Thundersnow12
There is a Winter Weather Advisory above 6500 feet in Glacier National Park and the Lewis Range of northern MT. Went on vacation there about 6 years ago or so, was awesome. Would get up into the 90's during the day and upper 40's/low 50's at night.

OHSnow
It got up to 102 today, which broke the record of 100 set back in 1953. Labor Day cannot come soon enough. Nope. Reached 103 at STL today, which tied the highest this summer. Could be 104 to 106 tomorrow. Wonder when the last time St. Louis has hit 105 -- much less in September? cyclone77
The latest version (00z) of the high-res NAM I've been posting the last few days still has us at 106 tomorrow. I definitely can't see that happening, but with 25-27C at 850 forecast by the operational NAM and GFS, I think we definitely have a legitimate shot at 100 tomorrow. MLI has only hit 100 in September twice in recorded history, so this would be a truly unusual occurrence here.
Chicago Storm
12z GFS MOS is now showing 90/93. 12z NAM MOS has 92/96 and raw output shows 96/100. 0z ECMWF still shows 95-100 both days. 0z NAM MOS has 93/92 and raw output has 97/96. 0z GFS MOS continues to show low 90's, with 91/92. Skilling went with 93/97, while his RPM model showed 95/98.

Chicago WX
Probably not a good sign for us when LAF is beating IND by one degree at 8AM (74 to 73). KIND has 97/99 in the point and click for LAF, conveniently right in between the calls of Hoosier (98/100) and myself (96/98).

TheWeatherPimp
Just for laughs, if you haven't seen it yet, one of my friends Jim O'Brien was taunted this morning on Fox 59 by the morning anchors with a spider. Jim has a pretty serious spider phobia. The video is hilarious. http://www.fox59.com/news/nationworld/sns-viral-video-meteorologist-spider-wxin,0,7266987.htmlstory
