tell ya what though, I am encouraged by the look of the active northern stream and moisture coming out of the south from a split flow, very much like last year. Throw in the block and you have dec-jan 2011.

Not really too concerned about where we end up temp wise in September (I think October is far more important) but seeing the active pattern is good. Hopefully when (gasp if ?) the block comes back it can team up with the pattern and produce.

A-L-E-X got banned from American Wx

Kinda weird, he always seems like a nice guy

Today, 12:13 AM The crazy thing is they dont know I can still send messages from other IDs ;) Most of my "associates" are already in place, ready to make things interesting on here ;) Some people will be getting exactly what they deserve in very short order....

Posting this in his profile shows all not was as it seemed. He obviously has hacked other sites/boards before, if that's the case.

To be fair that was politics and grand standing that held that up.

Once it officially started they are moving nice and fast.

I've been following the rebuilding of the site on skyscrapercity and indeed it has been rising fast once they finally got going. I just hope they finish the other towers because if Silverstein doesn't find tenants for tower 2 and 3 we're going to wind up with a construction site for foreseeable future.

Agreed, September doesn't hold much of a temp correlation to the ensuing winter, but Oct does. Good news is the NAO/AO have been predominately positive; if we can keep this going through October, even better.

Cold rain, disgusting. We have the next 8 months for that...keep it away.

strongly agree.

i hope all the people who were rooting for fall during the summer while we were able to sit in our pools and sip a cold beer have to sit through this crap this entire season. it is total garbage.

enjoy your 50 F and cold rain with wet ground and a sunset before you even leave work.

It's starts the annual striped bass migration to the south. Millions of striper fishermen, including myself, wait all year for late September thru December for the weather and the fantastic striped bass fishing it brings.

1st shot of fish started their migration south. Had 14 bass to 28 pounds this weekend. Woof!

yeah hopefully that solution doesnt gain any support. Friday and most of yesterday were quite nice. These clouds today are very depressing, at least its not raining. I hope we suffer through a blow torch of an Indian summer through Halloween after the next 7 - 10 cool down.sun.gif
