this weather is horrible right now.. there is nothing worse than mid 40's and rain... :sizzle: we need a major torch soon or else I'm going to go insane.. but I'll take an october snow storm before that.

Just because you live in a bowl in central rockland doesnt mean the rest of us cant enjoy our slight elevation. Lol

smart forecast right now. give it a few more runs. Its saturday and won't stick to the roads, no travel concerns.

Agree on the roads, but the tree damage is what's the main concern to me and it's not even mentioned as being a possibility....won't take much for it to pile up on foliated trees and even pine trees will sag from the weight of this stuff which will be like wet cement.

Thats just not true... 1-2 hour of heavy snow and roads will slush, then all bets are off; elevations obviously will go first. Agreed trees will be biggest concern but if the storm plays out the 12/18z's show people will be surprised with the roads and plows will be used for much of NJ, Lower Hudson Valley, and CT

road temps are still in the high 80's from the non-stop summer heat.
