JBG Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 meh, we saw snow in 09 and 10. Its the end of the month, and we have been torching for three weeks. This is not those years. I would agree that we torched October 8 and 9 (when for religious reasons I had no food and water for 24 hours). I would not call much of the time since aroiund October 12 a torch. Mild maybe but mid-60's in October are nomral, not torch, weather. I will agree that it's been far warmer than the October heartbreakers, 1972 and 1979. Yuck. only 1982 and 1948 had a major snowstorm in the winter...January 1954 and 85 were quite cold...January 2000 had a very cold period... Just 2 weeks ago I hit 90 and now we're talking about snow. I bet almost everyone didn't see the potential for late October snow coming in the first accumulating snowfall prediction thread, a total slap in the face lol.
