MULTIPLE transformers blowing. like crazy. More lighting then some of the thunderstorms this summer.

Lost power --- back on. Crazy stuff down here in Delco. Fairly certain a tornado came very close to where we are judging by the noises and multple transformer blows... Stay in the womb baby. Stay...

Per the forecast, it still won't make the top 5 at Easton/P'burg. May change, but shouldn't come anywhere near the record (43.7...can you imagine 21' over flood stage?!).

Can someone give me a decent doppler radar that handles Ocean County and shows tornado warnings? The NWS one is down. I just has a tornado warning for my town 40 minutes ago and would like to keep up on it for obvious reasons.

Thanks!

Use the DOVER radar site.

Going to sleep until 5am or so because I don't want to miss the height of the storm, considering I'm usually asleep for most of the morning.

Still raining heavily here, strongest gusts are around 15-20 mph, I'm expecting some pretty intense stuff when I wake up.

Edit: Strongest gust of the storm so far just came, probably around 25 mph or a little less.

Anyone able to visualize the TOR heading from SW of Wilmington towards Pennsville, Delaware City, and Bear? I'm about 10 miles south (maybe less) of the path and need to figure out whether to wake up my four little kids or not... If you can , pls send link

I'm in Pennsville, took all the family to the basement. No visual, just playint it safe.

What was the max during the last flood (was it 2006)? And during Floyd? I still think at least part of Easton will be under water Monday.

Per the forecast, it still won't make the top 5 at Easton/P'burg. May change, but shouldn't come anywhere near the record (43.7...can you imagine 21' over flood stage?!).

Trenton Water Works are shutting down at midnight... kinda glad I'm not home for THAT...

Not true I contacted the wife of Trenton W Ward Councilman and she said it is a rumor, the drinking water is safe. As a caveat to that I did fill my bathtub for toilet flushing.LOL
