MGorse
3-hour pressure rises are about 10 mb across eastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. Looks like gusts of 40-50 knots in that area.
famartin
Yes that 930MB low over Albany is going to verify. I've been doing my best to hold my tongue on these "Euro FTW" comments

tombo82685
SO the center will still end up over Albany? you can argue it either way...the gfs had multiple runs where it barely gave philly and inch or so and had the low affecting se mass/cc... they both performed very good. Redmorninglight
Looks like things are ramping up here after several relatively quiet hours. Had multiple trees and powerlines down and made several calls with our FD. Hoping to nap an hour or two before going out again. Good luck all! 96blizz
I've been doing my best to hold my tongue on these "Euro FTW" comments Guilty as charged, but the Euro held strong on keeping the storm close to where it will hit. The GFS really went East to the point where Philly was going to get just about nothing, but the Euro kept it on nearly the same line (but somewhat West for sure) consistently. I certainly agree the intensities thrown out were obviously way off, but did anyone truly believe those?

NJHurricane
For anyone who knows south jersey. Rt 130 NB overpass @ Rt 45 (Broad St. Takes you from Rt 130 into Woodbury) closed d/t flooding. Car stuck in waters under the overpass. Public works moved the vehicle and posted signs. This means the Brooklawn traffic circles will also be impassable. I live right here and there are no more cars on Rt 130 S. woah....is that the circle effected by the creek?
Boch23
Looks like the dry slot will last about 10 mins here lol. I guess its better then no break at all. Also my sump pump is down to running every 7 seconds instead of 5 secs WOOOO.

NickD2011
In the dry slot in Bordentown, power is still on but it flickered a few times. When posting obs, can you please post your current location or put it in your profile? "50 mph wind gust here" is pretty useless without a location. njrealtor84
It is the 2 traffic circles right next to each other in Brooklawn NJ. It is Rt 130 by Verchios & Westbrook bowling lanes. It is right next to the Delaware River. Floods a lot. The Rt 45 overpass is not right next to any body of water. woah....is that the circle effected by the creek?
