blackhound
Weird noises outside and thinking the Tornado has to be close here in Media, PA --- cannot believe the power is hagning on (about a dozen 'flickers' so far). I'd estimated 50MPH+ winds right now but I'm not going outside to find out... I'm down the road in Glen Mills. We heard loud noises at the same time the wind gusted with a vengeance. Was wondering the same thing.
johnc
Not true I contacted the wife of Trenton W Ward Councilman and she said it is a rumor, the drinking water is safe. As a caveat to that I did fill my bathtub for toilet flushing.LOL Hmmm... my parents called me to tell me that their neighbor called them to tell them that he heard from TWW that they were shutting down. weird
Bluescat1
I was told they were sending phone calls out (reverse 911)? I did not receive one, that being said some times during extreme muddy river conditions they shut the pumps down to clean the filters and they back feed from the reservoir. SmokeEater
What the heck is going on? They just canceled it on the scrolling bar on TV and then came back 2 minutes later to continue it the same way. They only cancelled the warning for Ocean County, because the cell moved into Burlington. That same warning is still in effect for only Burlington County. LovintheWhiteFluff
It was cancelled for Ocean County. TW remains for Burlington. Ah okay....It didn't make sense to me. Not used to tornadoes and it confused me the way they did it. Thanks for clearing it up!!
96blizz
4th Emergency Alert in Media, PA. Was thinking of some wind, a lot of rain and losing power --- but not this amount of tornadic activity. Somehow, the lights are flickering like crazy, but power is hanging on...
