Apparently you were unconscious while I was having a page long orgasm about an hour ago.

Quote one complaint from me today....

Not many really read, though, Ray. The comprehension, or even "will" to comprehend more than just seem retarded. Sometimes I seriously pray that the lowest common denominator on this site does not reflect society et al (digression).

According to the mayor, 3 homes were washed into Long Island Sound at the end of Fairfield Beach Rd, I will get down there tomorrow and take pics to add to all the surge pics I posted in the damage thread, what a day. 12,000 homes without power in Fairfield thats more than 50% of the residents.

Chris,

Looks like we could see some gusts later this afternoon in the 35-45 mph range with isolated gusts close to 50 mph possible. Further east across eastern MA looks like they could see gusts of 45-55 mph with isolated gusts up to 60-65 mph possible.

Looks like wind threat last through the late afternoon/early evening before finally tapering off.

Can think of a few areas in Westfield that must be getting dangerous.

Agreed... live shot on WWLP shows it within banks but running very fast - I would be especially worried about Route 20/other areas between the city center and the West Springfield line as that is a prone flooding area
