dan11295
Radar estimates of 12"+ at the VA/NC border. Checked the radar estimate for Suffolk, VA vs ground truth (7.72" so far) and it looks fairly accurate.

Snow Bow
analysis? What are you thinking for our town? Highest gust maybe 55-60? Not sure well get higher than that, also not sure I want more than that with the trees around here. Do you have an anemometer at the abode or just use CON obs? ORH_wxman
With that track CT shore and interior get crushed What are you expecting for Tolland? You might gust to 60 there, but you also might not. The track is slow compared to our usual 'canes so the core will be pretty disintegrated most likely.

Ginx snewx
analysis? Lowest pressure falls are usually a good indicator of future track.

ORH_wxman
So you want to be further east of the core to get the best winds in this case? There could be some good winds just to the right of the remnant core (but that will depend on how much it holds together) but there is also a much larger area of very strong winds via the intense LLJ out to the east that is probably getting synoptically enhanced. This is why there's a very good possibility the Cape (or nearby S MA/SE RI) sees the highest gusts.

ORH_wxman
Do we get in on some of that in ORH through SE NH? E MA into SE NH could see some of that...but it will obviously be less than what they see down on the coast. It'll be something we'll just have to follow on Sunday....depending on how much we mix down.
