k***
Calm down, I'm certainly not going to post my obs in the Philly sub-forum. As Sparky stated, the heavy convection could mix a tornado down to the surface. stop posting about weather

mattie g
Isn't the Philly subforum where it would belong though? There is no more reason for you to post it here than there. Probably less in fact. To be fair, his obs have more relevance in this sub-forum than TeaysValley's do (no offence to him, by the way), epsecially for this storm. k***
still lol'ing at the heavy convection mixing down tornadoes...
MDstorm
Definitely was a more N-ward trend over past 2 hrs, if only a temporary diversion. I'm not sure how temporary the more northerly movement will be....the trough to the west seems to be amplifying a good bit. MDstorm
stormtracker
Calm down, I'm certainly not going to post my obs in the Philly sub-forum. As Sparky stated, the heavy convection could mix a tornado down to the surface. Infact, a tornado warning was issued for Sussex county, DE. This board is turning into easternuswx. You certainly will. Because that's where it belongs. So, from this point forward, post your obs in the appropriate forum or you won't be posting at all.
mattie g
I'm entertained and all, but can we take some of this to the banter thread? Yes...I sound like a bitchy mom.
Kmlwx
Riptide - tornadoes do not "mix" down to the surface.....my gosh. If you have no idea what you are talking about then please stop for your own sake WINDS - mix down to the surface...not tornadoes. There is a difference. TradeWinds
Well, the NAM has busted low. 0.25" in the past fifteen minutes. Sharp western cutoff cancel. Frederick rain so far: Trace and that was this morning. Like I said, I'll go with less than 0.25" total for us. Mother Nature has to prove that it really can rain here. MDstorm
just arrived at my in-laws in Bel Air took the Key Bridge for giggles and it was pretty wild looking to the east with the wall of rain over the Bay we were in and out of the wall all the way up, back out of it in Bel Air though clearly looming in the SE sky as long as power is maintained back home, this will be almost as fun as a snow storm P.S. anyone here seeing 99/00 winter redux in the cards like me (just off the top of my head, 2nd year NINA, Floyd type storm-other factors to follow later) Riding out the storm with the in-laws? That's a scary storm story. My prayers are with you. MDstorm
