I feel like I have more than that shows me with. It has been ripping rain here for quite some time. Who knows though.

it's a bit high at dca it seems.. should be nearing 2.5" this hr there

over 50,000 pepco outages. Surprisingly few in montgomery county though.

EDIT: As I type that, over 1,000 people spontaneously lose power in north potomac.

Irene is "only" still moving at 16 mph, so it makes sense the outages would spike first south of the county in latitude and take an hour or two to translate up further north. Of course, Prince Georges county being further east also has them in on the higher winds regardless.

They are starting to spillover into MoCo now. Overall outage numbers taking a spike up now around 60,000 for PEPCO.
