TradeWinds
good rain and wind now in Frederick. Man, it stinks for those of you with Pepco. I've never regretted Allegheny Power. Cheaper rates AND less outages!

Those 40dbz+ returns are certainly going to mix some gusts down. Some in the 50mph range seems probable. Rockville obs: light to moderate rain and gusts maybe in the 30-35 range. Not too much sustained though. Buddy in Ches Beach said it's getting pretty messy. Sustained in the 40 range and really heavy rain.

Mrs.J
good rain and wind now in Frederick. Man, it stinks for those of you with Pepco. I've never regretted Allegheny Power. Cheaper rates AND less outages! Heavier rain down here in Frederick now (Ballenger Creek area). Although some friends to the north of me near Ft. Detrick and Walkersville said their lights are flickering and hear a noise outside. Winds really are not that bad down here.

mitchnick
We'll see if it peters out a little bit as it moves in. considering radar echoes keep expanding to the west, I'm thinking not, but I hope I'm wrong maybe this is the last big push (I hope!) Swiscaster
Power just flickered twice here in Centreville. I don't think I've ever lost power in the 6+ years I've lived in this house.
Bob Chill
Thomas Point sustained 50mph with gusts just under 60. Due north though. That will keep western shore property damage down quite a bit.

mattie g
I'm too lazy to get up and look outside to see how windy it is. Out-of-area ob: Just talked to my parents in South Jersey - they're getting raked by those bands coming in off the ocean. Two tornado warnings came in in the five minutes we were on the phone. Bodhi Cove
New tornado warning for parts of DE into MD - not sure if Nancy is around or not... I believe her mom is in Kent County MD Thanks Katie.. I originally posted asking for someone to get a read on that tornado as it was headed directly at my mom (who has gone to bed and is asleep) but they did not continue that warning. I hope nothing flares up around the Still Pond/Worton area. If it does scream at me, and I'll wake her up again. So much going on it'll be easy to miss another warning.
