Any informed guess on when the peak conditions will be in DC? Channel 7 saying 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Channel 24 saying 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

it looks like the secondaryt (they're basically combined though except for a tiny little break here and there) band rotating nw from RIC etc has some big wind in it. by dark it should start getting uglier.

LOL @ the power companies down here. How the hell are people already losing power near a major city? I don't even remember the last time a storm knocked out power in Boston. I think It had to have been 5+ years ago.

Get used to it lol, seems like a bigger problem every yr. Also Latest TS warning warns of 35-45mph sustained winds w/ gust to 65.

Checking in from SBY. Still ok; a couple of flickers, but still have power. Quite windy now within the last half hour, eyeballing it I'd say 30 sustained and gusts in the 45-50 range. Been raining a long time...since about 3AM. Curious to see if this indeed slides east of us. Going up the bay wouldn't be any better.
