TWC just said that the advisory will be 75 mph winds still a hurricane and a bit of a west trend to the track...at least that is what they said. Also slightly faster foreward motion...again just what TWC said...

75 mph

958 mb

18 mph nne

*now TWC says no change in track...after just saying a bit to the west before...

Good, still hope for me to beat the 968 mb site record from Tax Day!

I hope we hold below 960 into the tristate.... when was the last time we had a sub 960 mb low into NYC?

I'm less than 15 miles SSE of LGA. I work for the FAA at the NY Terminal Radar Approach Control Facility here in Westbury so I have been in touch with fellow employees at LGA/JFK and NWK on and off all night. As I said, in some of the bands that have passed through it was fun to watch but as I said you'd think the world was coming to an end and honestly feel emotion is making up a LARGE part of some of the recent posts. I live in Kings Park in Northwestern Suffolk Co. and my VP2 shows a gust high of 51.3 mph and less than 2" of rain since midnight. The station we use at work to monitor conditions during Emergency Generator runs shows a peak of 61.6 mph and a 1 hour average of 44.7 w 3.14" of rain. But hey if it's "Ripping" or "Epic" near you guys ENJOY IT !!
