Cfa Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 I think it is the west exposure. I am not used to winds blowing in this direction in the 6 years I have lived here. My windows start shaking when we have strong westerlies like after cold fronts, etc. A gust we had almost knocked me over earlier this year lol. Winds are usually rare though, even seabreezes, no relief at all from any heat we get. I just saw someone get thrown down the block, it's intensifying, the little window breeze has turned into a small mist fan turned on low. Highest gust so far is only 31 mph. If I knew the winds would be out of the NE, I would not have bothered taping all my windows and I have 8 huge ones facing west.
