The winds are also much stronger at the beach, too. I got lots of video, and went in the shallow areas of the water. There are actually lots of people there. Our beaches here on the island are in serious trouble if it's already that bad. Glad I hit Nickerson yesterday for one last hurrah even though swimming wasn't allowed. Will get interesting once the wind ramps up. Away from the coast, nothing is boarded up, but looks like more than half of businesses have taped their windows up.
